Kielder Observatory
Welcome to the Kielder Observatory website, a site documenting the development of the Kielder Partnership's new astronomical facility for the north of England.
Here you will find information on the initiation of the project, choice of site, competition process and winning design, and continues to document the construction of the building in the Calendar section.
Updating on construction progress will continue until completion in 2008 when information about the opening and launch events will also be made available through the site.
